# Canada (Northwest Territories)

The register lists at most 100 entities: a broader name is refused and must be made more specific. Inactive entities are returned with their status.

## Quirks & Gotchas

| Quirk | Details |
| - | - |
| **Company data is a summary** | The public search publishes the name, former and trade names, entity type, status and jurisdiction only: no address, no date, no people. |
| **No directors yet** | The public search shows no people. Directors are only on the Entity Profile, which is not offered yet: `legalRepresentatives` is answered as not supported. |
| **Extra-territorial corporations** | Returned as registrations, with their home jurisdiction in `status.statusDetails.additionalInfo`; a federal corporation is pointed to `CA-FED`, where its directors are. |
| **In Default** | An entity that missed an annual filing stays `active: true`, standardized as `INACTIVE_NOT_CLOSED`. |
| **Nunavut Entity** | A Northwest Territories corporation that became a Nunavut corporation in 1999 is closed here. |
