Check the live pricing page or contact support before relying on it in production. **`CA-NS` covers entities registered in Nova Scotia.** In Canada a company is incorporated either federally or in one province or territory, and each keeps its own register. One read serves both datapoints. Only company data retrieval is charged. ### Active companies only Search returns inactive entities too (struck off, revoked, amalgamated, dissolved). Each result carries the register's status, so [`activeOnly=true`](/essentials/search#active-companies-only) removes the closed ones. Its legal form is the extra-provincial type (`Extra-provincial Corporation Federal`, standardized as `Corporation`), it carries no incorporation date, and `status.statusDetails.additionalInfo` names its home jurisdiction (`CA-FED` for a federal corporation). | | **Officers and their offices** | Officers hold one of the register's offices (President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer) or an office in the filer's own words, returned as typed (`EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER`) with the standardized role read from the title. A person with two offices appears once per office. | | **No addresses for people** | The register publishes no address for directors and officers. | | **The recognized agent is not returned** | The person or firm that accepts service in Nova Scotia is not a legal representative. | | **No shareholders, no beneficial owners** | The register publishes neither.
