Canada (Prince Edward Island) is in beta. Check the live pricing page or contact support before relying on it in production.
CA-PE covers entities formed or registered in Prince Edward Island. A federal corporation registered in the province is a Canada (Federal) company: use countryCode: "CA-FED" and its corporation number for the company itself. CA on its own is not a jurisdiction.

Data Sources

The register keeps two systems: its current one, and the original one, which still holds non-profit corporations and co-operative associations and the records made before the register moved. We read both and return one record per entity.

Company Identifiers

Search and company data use the printed Business Number as the id for current records, including the registration suffix for a trade name. The native registration number remains in the company identifiers. Non-profit corporations, co-operatives and older records use their registration number as the id.

Search Capabilities

Search is live, by name, registration number or Business Number. A name search covers both systems of the register and lists corporations, co-operatives, non-profits, partnerships, sole proprietorships, trade names and extra-provincial registrations, active and inactive. A Business Number search returns the business and the trade names registered under it. Each system returns at most 20 matches, exact names first. Rarely, a search can take up to a minute.
